I think the pop of color makes the picture seem less dreary. Honestly, I would've tried to pop in a peep of some brighter color, perhaps one of the flowers? What if you took a yellow or red? It could help break the tension of the picture just a bit. Other than that, I can say with honesty, that I admire this shot. This holds mystery while honoring a wee bit of serenity.
