Actually I have to cordially disagree with the previous critique, I think adding extra color or saturation to the lollipop would break the continuity of the image, in my opinion if you want to emphasize the lollipop you do it through depth of field, which I think she has succeeded in doing, you could play around with this type of image all day long generating different results and any one of them would please a number of people. What it really comes down to, is the artist happy with the results.

I dig the over all tone and subtlety of this photo, for what it is its very very good.
