" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="366" title=" (Big Grin)"/>I don't think the symmetry of the forest helps this piece. In some places it works, mainly towards the bright end. But it becomes overly obvious when you look at the very middle of the road and the very very top of the trees.
My overall rule is that symmetry is fine and can offer a surreal effect, except when it's in tiny details. In this case the tree trunks are fine, but the dirt, leaves, and thin branches become distracting because my eyes know I am just looking at the same image flipped around.
